Import / Export

It is sometimes necessary to transport eggs, sperm and/or embryos into and out of Jamaica.

Some of the common reasons include:

1. Importing eggs, sperm or embryos to pursue treatment at CFC.

2. Exporting your eggs, sperm or embryos to pursue treatment at another IVF centre abroad.

3. A partner may be unable to travel to or from Jamaica. In this case, the eggs and/or sperm can be imported or exported.

 

In order to prevent damage during transportation the proper expertise and knowledge regarding permits and handling are necessary. At CFC, our staff is ready to assist you in ensuring that the importation or exportation of your eggs, sperm or embryos is a seamless process.
